Une famille de nos écoles a besoin de nous. Il s’agit d’un papa qui souffre d’une leucémie aigue.
Son unique possibilité de guérison dépend d’un donneur/donneuse de cellules souche.
La procédure médicale a énormément évolué de nos jours et est extrêmement simple et sans douleur :
- On vous envoie à la maison un test de salive.
- Si vous êtes compatible, on vous contacte pour une prise de sang.
- C’est tout. Les médecins sélectionnent par la suite les cellules souche nécessaires à la guérison.
Le protocole impose que les donneurs/donneuses restent anonymes. Par conséquent, si vous êtes sélectionné(e), il est possible que ce soit pour une autre personne que ce papa. Ceci afin de préserver l’intégrité de chacun(e).
